What If

What if staying accountable concerning sin starts with you deciding to not adopt the attitude that you might fall into sin?
What if accountability is really about calling someone up to the place where God has already ordained for them to be and the last thing they need is to be constantly reminded of the sin they have already repented unto God for?
What if Jesus has really and truly defeated sin, and the best thing for you to do is to embrace the finished work of the Cross?
What if sin can only overcome you if you refuse to see yourself the way God sees you?
What if the American Christian church by and large has a nasty habit of dealing with sin in an unbiblical fashion, and because of that reality, sin is still present in the lives of so many professing Christians?
What if the core issue concerning sin is based on having a poor definition of your identity in Jesus?
What if you are the only one who can decide how long you will allow sin to rule over your life?
What if a plank of wood has more sense than you concerning the correct way to deal with sin?
What if the reason why sin has increased so much in the Body of Christ is due to a lack of the love of God that is supposed to be shed abroad in our hearts?
What if sin is something that is not supposed to be an issue at all in the Body of Christ because Jesus has already defeated it on the Cross?
What if as you’re reading these questions you get up and decide to cut off whatever you need to cut off so that sin will not have its way in your life?

I’m just sayin’…..
